Community & Collaboration

When we started to develop the first WeSustain suite we had several basic desires. All of us are business users of software and much too often intuitiveness and ease of use are forgotten by business software vendors.  One of the pillars of our software needed to be ease of use and familiarity similar to the social applications we all use today. Our aim is to provide users
with an inspiring and exciting work environment.

We have deliberately taken out many of the old fashioned business software interfaces without losing the richness needed to reach serious business goals. Our goal was to ensure fast training and long-term acceptance by the entire organization reducing the many sustainability barriers we see today at companies.  Our activity streams and social applications, such as discussion forums, inviting friends, sharing documents, project tasks, or setting up groups and communities to support your individual change process are all part of every module we deliver.

Our core mission is to realize that sustainability is not an isolated application of just corporate sustainability team. It is about the empowerment of employees to accelerate the change process and ability to raise awareness within the company and be inclusive and collaborative. WeSustain supports enterprise-wide communication and collaboration process and provides the basis for a cultural change.

Our collaborative software allows staff from any department to be invited and work more efficiently on projects and contribute their know-how in interactive, issue-specific groups. WeSustain allows you now finally to cross boundaries and include selected suppliers in a secure, external community to improve your entire supply chain that have effect on your sustainability goals.
The WeSustain Community & Collaboration module offers the following advantages:

Social media for seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Create internal and external communities and groups. Leverage web 2.0 concepts to improve your performance, stakeholder engagement and reputation.

  • Create discussion forums, groups, blogs and wikis for a powerful "knowledge management" approach and empower the participation of all employees
  • Create an internal sustainability community, which uses the commitment and knowledge of your employees and opens new avenues of cooperation
  • Involve stakeholders in selected areas and intensify the cooperation, with suppliers, NGO’s or opinion leaders
